For class, our last huge project is a VAT Brochure to recruit new students to Washtenaw Community College, we are paired with a photographer and we have to create this brochure with information for each department in VAT. The departments are, Graphic Design (GDT), Photography (PHO), Animation (ANI), Digital Video (VID), and Web (INP).

This is my concept that i showed my photographer. the top left block is the cover (will add color) and the bottom left page is the beginnings to a Table of Contents. The rest are the “COVER” pages to each department, the information will display on other pages that I haven’t developed yet

Each person in my portfolio class has to create a poster to advirtise our portfolio review show. here’s what i’ve come up with, with some help from abduzeedo.

Another class assignment. For this one we had to work with a photographer from another class to shoot the photos from our sketches. we provide the materials, and they shoot it, give the photos to us, and we create the poster. The project was more about the concept and working with another person to create a poster. I’m very happy with what I got out of it, although my teacher didn’t seem to like the type being white. Let me know what you think.

Here is my final logo design for my personal identity project at school.

I’ve decided for school, to design a logo for my name, as well as a logo for Derno, which will come later. Here are my logo variations for my hm logo. Right now its just 1. and 2. (left and right) if you want to vote.
